LAST NIGHT'S SOAKED BLACK BEANS COOKING ON THE STOVE. WE HAVE BEEN STRAIGHTENING THE APARTMENT. BELONGINGS ARE SORTED AND PUT INTO PLACE TEMPORARILY. SOMETHING CHANGES AND THESE BELONGINGS WILL MOVE AGAIN SOON. I PULL OUT SOME PAPER AND RUN MY FINGERS OVER SOME RECENT DRAWINGS. I HAVE BEEN CREASING THE PAPER IN SQUARES AS IF TO MAKE A BOUNDARY. THEN I TAKE MY SOFT-HAIRED-HAKE BRUSH AND DIP IT IN WATER; I FILL THE SPACE WITHIN THE BOUNDARY. THEN I MAKE THE WATER DRIP AND GO OUTSIDE. TODAY IT IS SUNDAY AND I PULLED MY TIRED BODY OUT OF BED AT SEVEN, ALTHOUGH I HAD ALREADY BEEN AWAKE FOR AWHILE.
