Beacons for Haro Point, 2015

 During  my first year on Vancouver Island  I lived near the Haro Straights. Each day I would walk down to the water to greet the ocean. On the edge of the shoreline there was this empty structure. I inserted aluminum slats to act as beacons for the  light and to converse with the sea.
