Pinna (bridge), 2017
Draped plastic acts as a conduit for real time as it moves with the air currents, echoing the surrounding light. Drop-cloth plastic was also found in a near-by and active construction site under the bridge. Lines and small shapes cut out on the surface of the plastic mimic patterning throughout its surroundings, extending their slow, repetitive swaying. These physical alterations proffer an experience of both current and distant time.
