It is springtime and I am coming across some old studio photos. And the colours are vivid. I see the picked flowers from a few summers back. I remember dyeing those sheets of paper with bean and cabbage juice. Look at that magenta sheet! Currently I have some hyacinths, also magenta, in the house from gardening last week. The aromatic smell fills the home. I think of a honey bee's acute nectar awareness. Beauty in colour, and the pure joy of flowers springing! There is a joy in arranging this and that to create an ease in a space and a sense of presence.      |
